Fat City Swing presents Swinging in the Park!

See how fleece is made into yarn! Spinners and weavers will be demonstrating the spinning wheel, floor loom, and drum carder in the Textile room. Minature horses will be on display. Get up close to a Fire Truck on site. Check out the "rope making demonstration" - making rope from binder twine was a common thing on early farms. Watch for a real live "Blacksmith" at work at the Farm Museum. The popular "Scavenger Hunt" will be available for families to enjoy. BBQ on the Bypass

The 5th Annual BBQ on the Bypass is being hosted and organized by the staff at Well Seasoned gourmet food store and cooking school in Langley. Owner, Angie Quaale, was introduced to competitive barbequing in 2004 when she met BBQ evangelist and Canadian BBQ Champion Rockin’ Ronnie Shewchuk. Angie figured the best way to join the quest for the ultimate BBQ was to host a competition. In 2005 she invited teams to Langley, B.C. from all over the Pacific Northwest and, as a result, the BBQ on the Bypass was born.

Christmas in Williams Park

The 2010 event marks the 20th annual Christmas in Williams Park. During the Drive Through evenings, you can view the lights and displays from the comfort of your own vehicle. The Walk and Celebrate evenings feature hay & pony rides, local entertainment, face painting, refreshments. and a visit with Santa Claus.

Magic of Christmas Parade
December 4
Our delightful parade starts at 6:00 pm and travels east down the one-way on Fraser Highway from 204th Street and finishes up at 206th and Fraser Highway.Come to downtown Langley and see the colorful floats, majestic horses, lively music and of course, Santa and Mrs. Clause. Christmas lights, holiday spirit and sounds of the season will kick off your Christmas in fine style and delight children of all ages. Then beginning at 6:30, follow the parade to the Douglas Rec Centre for Country Christmas. Join Santa and Mrs. Clause for an evening of entertainment, caroling, crafts, tasty treats and more. Old Fashioned Musical Christmas

Join in an evening of music and carols in a magical setting. Join in the singing around the bonfire, enjoy the music of performers from around the Fraser Valley, share warm wishes with Santa, and enjoy hot chocolate and treats.
